astute commentary on the nomination of bernard kerik as homeland security chief. so true! so true:
the tendency of Republicans to point to New York as a symbol of American hope and courage when it suits their war-mongering ends, and then turn around and point to New York as a modern-day Sodom when they're trying to hate on gays and women, makes me want to vomit, and it's particularly noisome when Giuliani sells out the city he supposedly loves so much to do it.
